Let your baby touch and play with toys of different textures

Your baby may not know what string theory is just yet, but they pick up knowledge about the physical world pretty quickly. As early as one and a half months, your child understands gravity, when you drop their blanket, it falls. They also realize that just because they can’t see their toy, it still exists, even if it is under the blanket. By six months, they understands the difference between water and something solid, like a teddy bear. If you want to help your baby improve their natural knowledge of the physical world? Play plenty of rounds of peek-a-boo or try the activities in our app, let your baby touch and play with toys of different textures, and keep pointing out the different properties of the objects around them, how things are soft or hard, wet and dry, round or square.

Make sure you download our app in either App Store or GooglePlay or read one of our other articles. .
